Purpose With minimal supervision, the Billing/Fee Approval Processor ensures timely and accurate billing for a specified group of legal case files. This is a temporary assignment that will last between 90 - 120 days of employment. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Approves transactions using Phoenix, a legal data management systemReview transactions for accuracy and verify pricingRequests fees through client electronic databases Resolve discrepancies through interaction with appropriate departments and clients Maintain frequent telephone contact with internal and external clients Create and maintain daily and monthly reports as requested by management Respond timely to inquiries from internal and external clients Assist management in research and special projects Job Requirements Degree in Accounting or related field preferredAt least two years of work experience in Accounting, Billing and/or Accounts Receivable.

Legal billing experience highly preferred.

Billing experience with a law firm that has a high transaction volume highly preferred.

Phoenix experience highly preferred.

Working knowledge of real estate foreclosure and bankruptcy process. General Competencies Must be proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.

Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.

Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external customersIdentifies and solves issues in a timely manner.

Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary.

Must be extremely organized and be able to multi-task.
