Overview Initially, in the summer term you will play a vital role in supporting Year 6 transition, to prepare students for the start of their education with us when they join in September, as well as building a strong foundation for future relationships throughout their time at Rugeley John Taylor School. In addition you will be required to support the wider team in helping identify and reducing the barriers to attendance for existing students.<br>Responsibilities Direct work with students and parents addressing safeguarding, behaviour, mental health, and provision of special educational needs. The successful candidate does not need to be an expert in these fields, but must demonstrate an interest in learning about them and a determination to ensure every young person has access to provision which meets their unique needs.<br>Excellent standards of organisation and prioritisation; ability to work in a calm and orderly manner; resilience and adaptability to respond to immediate needs of a young person, their family, or colleagues.<br>About the Trust and School We have a passion for excellence demonstrated by a broad curriculum and high-quality leadership.
