Directional Drill Operator Ultimate LLC is looking to hire Directional Drill Operators for projects in the Midwest. The pay range for Operators is $25-30 per hour based on experience. The majority of our position’s hours range from 45 to 75 hours a week. Directional Drill Operator applicants must have a personal vehicle and be prepared for work up to 40 hours a week. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all operators with no week in the hole. Ultimate Construction Operator responsibilities Work on horizontal directional drilling projects of all sizes. Pre-walk and white line projects. Load, unload and transport construction materials, machines and tools. Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment based on job requirements. Verify location of existing utilities and adjust route as necessary based on job specifications and easement requirements. Ability to determine proper drilling fluid additives for specific soil types and conditions. Assist with job site clean-up. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to work as a team with others and assist in training new hires. Ultimate Construction Operator requirements High school diploma or equivalent Ability to travel weekly, up to two weeks or more at a time Class A CDL or ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment Education in Gas and/or Utilities Construction (preferred) Experience installing gas mains and fiber optic cables (preferred) Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, and walk for long periods of time Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. regularly.
