We’re redesigning an existing Shopify website for a premium furniture brand in the U.S. The site will be rebuilt using a premium Shopify theme, and we’ll be leading the UX, content, branding, and overall project in house.

We are looking for an experienced Shopify developer to work with me throughout the project as a technical partner. This is not a full website build from scratch. Most of the design direction, content, and creative work will be handled by the in house team.

Responsibilities

* Review and improve the Shopify product database structure (collections, tags, metafields, etc.)

* Help build or customize a mega menu

* Implement collection filters

* Customize the Shopify theme as needed

* Write custom Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript when necessary

* Create a few custom Shopify sections if the theme doesn’t support them

* Install and configure Shopify apps

* Optimize performance and responsive layouts

* Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues

Requirements

* Strong Shopify and Liquid experience

* Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills

* Experience customizing premium Shopify themes

* Clean, well-organized code

* Good communication and attention to detail

Nice to Have

* Experience with Shopify Search & Discovery

* Metafields and Metaobjects

* Klaviyo integrations

* Ecommerce UX/CRO knowledge
