Location: Remote (Preferred EST)

Position Type: Contract

Position Summary

The Salesforce Developer will support the continued evolution of NREMT's Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Voice, and enterprise integrations. This individual will partner with business and IT stakeholders to enhance customer engagement, improve customer service operations, optimize platform capabilities, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions supporting the organization's digital modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce applications and platform enhancements.

  • Develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and custom integrations.

  • Support and enhance Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including journeys, automations, data extensions, and platform integrations.

  • Develop, configure, and support Salesforce Voice, including integration with Vonage and related contact center capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize Salesforce Voice call routing, screen pops, call logging, and customer service workflows.

  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Participate in testing, deployment, production support, and continuous platform optimization.

  • Follow Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and release management processes.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.

  • Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flows, and Salesforce configuration.

  • Experience supporting or implementing Salesforce Voice.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Marketing Cloud Connect, and Data Extensions.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce Voice with Vonage or other cloud contact center (CCaaS) platforms.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, or Marketing Cloud certifications.

  • Experience supporting enterprise customer service platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
